Solar Sales Consultant: DC Metro Area

We are seeking experienced Solar Sales Consultants with high energy to manage DC-Metro area sales with our growing company. This person will be responsible for the sale of residential and occasional commercial solar projects in Washington DC and Maryland counties to the north and west of the city. While solar experience is preferred, we are happy to provide an excellent education in the up-and-coming renewable energy field to an experienced sales professional with a proven track record. The ideal candidate must have a high degree of maturity, energy, and be a team player. Please respond only if you are able to handle a high volume of leads and willing to work long and odd hours including evenings and some weekends to conduct shows and events.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years sales experience, demonstrated skills and strong references
  • Proven ability to achieve set targets and work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication in-person and via telephone
  • Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salesforce.com, etc

Preferred Candidate

  • Experience performing financial calculations (ROI, IRR, NPV, APR, etc.) will be a plus
  • Previous background in solar or other renewable energy sources
