Meet Leo Sunergy's Management Team

Salman Siddiqui: Co-Founder

Salman co-founded and launched Leo Sunergy in early 2010 with a vision to expand in the
USA, Asia, Africa and South America and to help both first and third world countries to meet their energy requirements through sustainable sources.

Salman Siddiqui brings 23 years of construction, development, franchising and global business development experience to Leo Sunergy. He's work for companies such as Exxon, Pepsi, Yum Restaurants and Dunkin Brands. Most recently he was Vice President of Global Business Development for Dunkin Brands and served in this position until he joined Leo Sunergy.

He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Construction Management from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from DePaul University, Chicago.

Khawar Hassan: President

Khawar Hassan is a lifelong serial entrepreneur with wide ranging interests and a record of starting and growing multimillion-dollar new businesses internationally. Over the past 22 years, Khawar's many successful ventures include forays in advertising, fashion and textiles, engineering, IT and energy.

Khawar has sourced, manufactured, marketed and sold products and services in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. He has presented papers on sourcing at seminars and teaches international sourcing as an adjunct instructor at IADT Orlando. He currently holds the positions of President at Technikar Solutions Inc., Founder and CEO at Motive Boardwear, and President at International Sourcing Company.

Khawar holds an MBA in Marketing, an MA in International Affairs, and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering, all from Ohio University.

Sohail Qamar: Chief Technology Officer

Sohail Qamar has more than 20 years of hands-on operational experience in a variety of sales, marketing and engineering leadership roles. Prior to joining Leo Sunergy Corporation, Sohail was general manager for the Ultra Carbon Division of Carbone Lorraine - a Paris, France based advanced materials company, where he oversaw all aspects of the firm's high purity and high temperature graphite component manufacturing operations. In addition, Sohail was part of a global team responsible for establishing the company's products in the solar industry.

Sohail started his career at the multi-billion dollar Tosoh Corporation of Japan as a process engineer and quickly rose to higher levels of responsibility in engineering management and global business development. While at Tosoh, Sohail acquired two United States patents in materials joining technology. He has a demonstrated track record in start-up environments. Over the course of his career, he has been instrumental in creating over 100 million dollars in highly value-added product revenue while creating and supporting thousands of jobs.

Sohail holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Ohio State University of Columbus, Ohio, and an MBA from Ohio University of Athens, Ohio. He is member of SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) and a board member of the Great Lakes Bay Manufacturers Association. Sohail is a frequent technical speaker and writer.

Amanda Hren: Office Manager / Environmental Specialist

Amanda Hren is Leo Sunergy's Office Manager and also serves as an Environmental Specialist. Amanda brings alternative energy experience from her time with the Alliance for Green Heat, where she worked to promote residential biomass heat as part of the collection of fossil-fuel alternatives receiving federal and state grant support.

She holds a bachelors degree in Ecological Technology Design from the University of Maryland, College Park and is in the process of becoming LEED AP and Home Certified.
